Ive created another thread called Hard shaking Ls, and explained my troubles. I got my car looked at by the local Lincoln service dealer and they let me know i need a hub assy. because i had bad bearings. Ok so I changed that twice! and the cv, but that infernal buzzing wont go away. I balanced the tires and all

The sound is bad bc it was done on phone but the buzzing is coming from the right rear i think where i changed the parts.

ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

my next stop is a 1100 repair at the service center (one that i really cant afford)

first of all

what is your your check engine light doing on? Go to auto zone and have them scan it.

Not sure about the noise, could not get a good handle on it. Have a friend ride in the back seat or have someone put it on a lift and run the engine in gear and stand under the rear end and find the noise. Many gas stations will do it for a few bucks.

ok thanks my check engine light is on bc of a pcv tube being pinched by the manifold i can fix that

more help please?

I'm not sure if I can hear the right sound in that video... It is horrible quality.

But anyways, did you ever remove the strut assembly?

are you talking about the humming sound? if so, I just had my car in the shop for it. I had a bad rear bearing. I have no more rear end noise. It always sounded like a rear tire was humming and out of round when infact it wasnt. I was going crazy hearing the sound allll the time. Is that what your talking about? I know you said you replaced the bearings so idk.

**ya so I just listened to it again with the volume up super load....that is exactly what I was hearing. I went crazy trying to fix this. New tires, down graded to 16" stock wheels that I made firestone balance twice, new rotors. So I brought it to a Cadillac dealer and it was like 187 to change the rear bearing (just pressed a new one in) on one side. Not too bad. But ya, no more humming!

yea sorry about the quality of the vid thats the G1 for ya, its def the humming i changed the cv axle, the hub assy, and i still get the humming i might jus change the bearing again
