Help on my 98 lsc please!!!

Im debating on either choosing cherry bomb glass packs or a flowmaster muffler. I want my 98 Mark VIII LSC to sound like a muscle car. I want it pretty loud. Enough so kids at my school can see a badass senior roll up it a gorgeous car. I have stock exhaust on it. Any help please?

cut the stock mufflers off, then go from there.
i like the sound of borlas. but they aren't super loud.

I had a 93 Mark VIII with Cherry Bombs replacing the back mufflers. Other wise it was a stock exhaust. It was just a little louder but it sounded nice.

+1 If you want to make a little noise just replace the mufflers with straight pipe.

i like the way the dynomax bullets sound....i had a set on my 97 cordovan base....im thinking of getting a set now for my LSC and they are cheap on summit racing.

cut the mufflers off. its alot louder, gives the musclecar sound, and with the 2 cats and resonator its not obnoxious.

I recently cut the mufflers off my 97 LSC and replaced with straight pipes. The rest of the system is stock with the cats and everything. It has a nice sound, not overly loud but throaty, and doesn't drone on long trips . Try it as a starting point.

Thanks guys. I would I just don't want a ticket. I'm in az. Do you Think the third cat gets rid of the dual exhaust. Should I keep it split and put two more cats on it?? Would it make it perform better. I Think the 3rd cat Where the dual exhaust meets defeats the point of a dual exhaust.

The 3rd cat isn't needed as cat, but if you remove it, then you need an X or H pipe in its place

On my '93 I ended up installing an X-pipe in place of the 3rd cat & 2 MagnaFlows. I wasted my cash on the MagnaFlows. The car is way too quiet. Not to mention the X-pipe makes it even quieter. Yes, I admit, it sounds sweet but nothing "muscle car" about it.

Instead of swapping exhaust from my '93 to my '97. I might just do the following (In place of the 3rd cat, I have a dual inlet/dual outlet FLOWMASTER muffler sitting at home that I never installed on my F-150):

Cherry bombs sound GOOD!!! I have an H-pipe in place of the 3rd cat and a pair of Cherry Bombs on the '97 LSC. The red '96 base in the first vid (which I don't have anymore) had stock single exhaust with no mufflers.
