heating headlights

unless it has the black molding right ? only the grey will heat properly at 200 deg. (from what I remember reading before)

Hrmmm,

He has the same Idea I have. I dont want to hi-jack this thread. But I have the same question.

Looking to get angel eyes. With this being said.

my drive side Headlight has the Grey beads, and sealant. And is crystal clear.

However, my passenger side headlight, gets a little "noisy" or haze to it at times when its not under heat. Also It seems as if it was RE sealed, Has black silicone going around the housing... Could be why there is the haze from moisture.

Opinions before I get to work?

I left those on both times I stuck my lights in the oven. I just left the wiring on the car, and took the 3 metal clips off the bottom of the housing. I think that's it...

:I That's all I did the 2 times I put mine in the oven too... Didn't seem to mess up anything that I could see

I went ahead and popped the rubber piece off and left the level. Seemed to work A-Ok, with nothing broken or melted.

Hmmm, the How-To on lskoncepts.com doesn't say anything about removing any of the rubber. Did they leave that part out, or is it just not necessary with it only being in the oven for 8 minutes?

Mark

left the level but took off the rubber, i can just seal that back on with clear sealant. came apart fairly easy. will have pics of full install when i get the angels. i might have an extra set of headlights if someone wants for trade, have to check if they are grey sealant.
