Headlight Help Please

Hello, i just purchased my 3rd set of freakn headlights for this car. ( 95 mark viii ) did the halogen housing because i cant afford HID but i bought these ones brand new. I just want to know what i can do to keep the chrome from failing, or at least lengthen the life. I saw a few guys with HID in the halogen housing but no instructions on how to fo it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

buy a set of HIDS specifically for the 9005 bulb setup....the bulbs go right in the housing plug and play...its what im doing once my restored headlights come if you troll around some recent posts (past week) you will see some housings that were opened up rechromed polished inside and out...and look as good as new, maybe even better

I got my HID's off EBAY $88 free shipping seller had 99.4% feedback, and i got good reviews on the product

i can hook you up with an hid conversion kit if you want to go that route, if you want them to last,m its what i would do. i get my hid kits from HIDSQUAD in clearwater not far from my house, my buddy billy owns the place. i just put one in my 97.

Lol. Mind, that article is a little behind the times now.

If I were to do it again today, I'd go with a digital, slim ballast kit from some other company like that DDM Tuning.

Thanks guys. I didnt know that the kits were direct replacement. Thats awesome. Ill just order up a set. Will i still have to eventually rechrome the new housings if i only use HID from start?
