The LS needed new front pads about a month ago. I changed them no differently than any others I have ever done. I popped the master cylinder open, disconnected the caliper, pressed the piston back in, put the new pads on with anti-rattle grease, bolted the caliper back on, and repeated on the other side. I cleaned up any excess brake fluid so as not to exceed the max-fill line, started the car, worked the brakes, then put the cap back on the master cylinder.
Ever since, it appears that both front calipers are hanging slightly. I managed to bleed the passenger side this weekend, then my bleeder sprung a leak.
I did not see any air come through the line when I was bleeding it, and I can still here the slight "scraping" noise when driving alongside a building. Is there something I missed, or some procedure I neglected to follow? I would not expect both calipers to pitch out at the same time...it just seems like too much of a coincidence.
