i was wondering how hard it is to install a halo kit into the stock headlights. i hear you have to put the headlight in the oven to soften the adheasive holding it togehther. anyway any help would be nice before i order them.

p.s. i know im a noob so you dont have to remind me, and i know i dont know how to do everything thats why i asked.... thanks

there have been quite a few threads on this before so im sure if you search for it you will probably find exactly what you are looking for. all i know is that the headlights come in black and grey sealant, and only one of the colors work but im not certain what color it is.

thanks gotta love the theres a thread you have to look for so dont start a new one attitude....... i looked at like 20 pages and didnt see anything so if some knows what to do here can post thanks.

haha didnt have a attitude but ok.

It's not hard at all to do. I really enjoyed doing it actually! I even painted the headlight bezels to color match my car. Although I STILL need to wet sand the lens and put rubbing compound on... I'm debating on whether or not to let the body shop I'm going to eventually get it paint at do it due to it looking like crap at the moment from the hail damage we had this year.

So if it has black sealent it, the headlights can't be opened or what the deal with the black and gray. There is some condensation in there from when i bougt it. I want to clean it up and make it look squeaky clean.

the black sealant you have to dremel. The grey sealant can be baked for a period of time to soften it. Then you can pry the headlight apart clean the inside very well drill 4 holes for to feed the Angel Eyes wiring through. Just remember any color beyond white is considered ILLEGAL and the predator umnitza angel eyes bleed (seep through) when your lows or his are on. Just as a warning and the predators might time to time burn out on you so means you'll have to dremel again to get to them and replace. They all fade or do not work properly in cold conditions so be weary.

I took my headlight off yesterday. I couldn;t see any sealant on the edges but i saw some on the inside.I got the black one. By dremel you mean dremenl the black sealant or the actual headlight frame? Cause i didnt; see how a dremel would fit in there

You'll need use the dremel tool to carfully work your way into the light. I destroyed my light because I didn't know what I was doing. I had the black silicone. It was a pain.

Yeah I was looking at it earlier. I'll just leave it. Too hard to not damage. I'll just save up for new ones

FWIW, I'm guessing you didn't find much useful info when you searched because they're usually called "angel eyes" (white) or "demon eyes" (red) around here. Search on those terms and you should find more information.
