They usually move it over slightly within the fenderwell. I'm sure someone will snap a photo...

Here are the pictures , as referenced to in our IM convo Alex. Jeremi gets the credit for the material. These were taken when the intake was 1st installed. (one of the 1st cobra intakes installed on VIII's).

On my 2nd gen I moved the module just under the battery tray location wise, at a slight angle, next to the abs juction box. It allowed enough cable to reach the new TB location. You could also get a different cable (some year mustang or other forsd has a longer cable), they all attach the same way to the module motor. Good ole days of the cobra intakes ... LOL

I used a truck cable, but can't remember what year it was from since I did the swap so long ago.
