I'll probably continue the offer for another week and a half. I was hoping I could get at least 5 people aboard. After that, we may be able to drop the price. MSRP is $479. I thought more people might be interested.
Whats the diff between a jammer and a radar detector. I heard the valentine radar a lot, is that a good one?
+1 Speeding tickets in IA are dirt cheap and we do have a right to speed law (up to +10mph, but ONLY in 35-55 zones - yeah, retarded right?) but the insurance gets mighty expensive.Your luck will run out sooner or later. Then what? Its nothing compared to tickets and insurance premiums.
You can get into a rabid fanboy argument, but the consensus seems to be that the Valentine 1 and Escort 9500ci are the best radar detectors on the market, unless you live in Virginia or are a commercial driver, in which case your only option would be the Beltronics STi-R, which has been proven to be immune to radar-detector-detectors including the Spectre IV.Whats the diff between a jammer and a radar detector. Some may disagree but I consider the Valentine 1 the best radar detector.
It sniffs out cops over hills and around curves.
It's straight range is over a mile.
It detects the radar reflection off of a pulled over car 1/4 mile ahead.
Plus it's the only one that had directional arrows that tell you if the cop is coming from the front, behind or from the sides like when you approach an intersection.
You can also send it to Valentine to have the software updated for a small fee.
Very true, you still need to pay attention as I have iterated from the start. However, this is a very good line of defense should you be distracted and let your guard down. That always seems to be when you find trouble.Of course none of this wonderful gadgetry will help you from getting paced,
so be alert when speeding and keep checking that rearview mirror.
a quality radar/laser detector such as the V1 or 9500ix can save you if your detecting laser that is being reflected or diffused off of surrounding cars. However, if you're directly targeted, you may as well pull right over.My V1 saved be from a laser ticket on Hwy 101 near Paso Robles last winter. I was doing ~78 in a 65 when I got the alert. The CHPer was painting one of the cars ahead of me and I got the "splash" in enough time to be around 70 when he got me. That is some kind of warning!

So you can't jam radars cause its illegal. You can jam lasers and once you get targeted its jams it so you can slow down, turn it off, and let the laser read a speed within the limit...Right?
does the V1 have both radar detection and laser jamming? Which ones do?
So to be well protected you need a v1 to detect and a jammer just in case? Thats like 800 big ones.
If this group buy offer is only for a short time I'm probably out. I'm interested but money just flew out the window. Gotta wait a bit
I am certainly not encouraging dangerous driving, but I will say that just 1 ticket saved could cover that amount (ticket costs, legal costs / time to fight the ticket, insurance premium increases, license suspension, etc.)So to be well protected you need a v1 to detect and a jammer just in case? Might be interested, but you can get it lower than $425 shipped here :
