Ok can someone explain how to remove the grill and chrome trim to paint it black? And how to put it back on? See i have this problem of breaking stuff like that when i decide to just go outside and figure it out. And theres already enough things wrong with my mark as it is. And how would u suggest i prep it? I REALLY dont want to jack it up. Thanks alot for the help.

You need to mask the individual items you wish to paint. The chrome moldings dont come off easily and go back on even harder with double sided sticky tape. After you remove the entire front bumper cover and have it sitting on the floor, there are four bolts that hold the grill to the bumper cover, and no, you cant get to the bolts while the cover is still on the car.

theres a set of phillips head screws on the inside of each wheel well, unscrew those and slide the bumper out

Dont remove anything just paint the pieces on your car, just mask around them,i did my whole car with out removing one piece, its about a 3 hour job to paint all your chrome ,3m scuff the door, bumper trim and the grill because these are plastic then hit them with primer and paint, for the metal trim hit them with 80 grit sand paper then follow it by 180 grit then 3m scuff it,clean it with laquer then mask it and primer it follow by paint, this holds up well ,i have nicked some paint off this winter because of my snow brush but that was my fault, two hours after i finshed painting my trim i went to the power wash and it did not even blow off, since then i have went to the power wash like a hundred times and when i notice a scratch or chip i just retouch it up.see if you can find duplicolor touch up bottle in your color after you have finshed just to be safe.
