Had the manifold volume changed to 10L and the air charge WOT correction to 1.9... the timing is good at idle now (10-12 degrees) and the car idles perfectly but it still has no power off the line. So I need to install that 3500 9.5 converter... so if you delete your IMRC's make sure you have a high stall converter. I thought my 4.30's would be enough but I was wrong...

I am relatively weak off the line too. Slightly different setup, but I am sure I lost low end with my setup.

That's strange Unity... the C heads and the 99/01 Cobra intake should have more low end over even a stock B head Cobra intake setup with IMRC's intact... what gears are you running? You need at least 4.10's to get these tanks off the line...

Good deal serge That timing at idle is very close to mine. You want to hook me up with that tune. Did it make any difference that you can tell. I'm asumming it was added to the egr delete file. When you get the stall you'll be like holy :q:q:q:q why did I wait. You'll knock off .5 easy at the track. What brand are you looking at. I recommend a quality one not the dacco one I use. No complaint but will be upgrading before the other tranny goes in. Hopfully in the winter. (fingers crossed)

Nope, the C heads and the updated C heads (03/04 DOHC heads) are the best for all around power. I already have an Edge Racing 9.5 inch 3500stall converter sitting in the garage... yea I got the base tune with the EGR, IMRC, timing retard, top speed limiter delete with this volume correction for the Cobra intake manifold as well. Other than that it's a stock BTC0 tune and then you build your tune from there in Special Forces... shoot me an email sbpak@dons.usfca.edu and i'll send it to ya, Sean...

I too read that B heads with IMRCs are ideal. Hence the BEST setup is 04 heads with the massive Aviator intake. I have a Mach intake, but its very much like the Cobra intake in 04. My gears are stock.

I dunno guys.........

I'm still running Base gearing with the 5 speed swap, and the thing has NO problems getting off the line with the IMRC's wired open. To be honest I (and a few others on this site who have ridden in it), say it pulls harder than a 3.73 geared VIII off the line.
