Now I can take the LS back off the road and finish what I started a couple weeks ago but couldnt finish, 2200<3000rpms, my peak torque was just under 3500rpms so this should be perfect.

Are you gonna put new shoes on the car too? lol I had to. Good luck on the install. You gonna do this on the ground or you got a lift? pics pics pics

Im actually gonna price out some shops n see if its worth doing myself or not, if I only gotta spend a couple hundred its getting done in a shop, otherwise, jackstands and a weekend or two. Its got Nitto NT05's in back, Ive not once had issues hooking up thus far, nothing a little burnout cant fix tho. :D

What year and engine I'll give you an estimate that most shops would, that way you wont be too shocked.

Yeah sorry I found it in youre profile. About 494 + tax. 5.2 hrs at 95.00 an hour.

Yep, that's what I'm planning on too. Jackstands and a long weekend.

Really looking forward to the results. Make sure to take pics of the install :D

Hope is the only thing keeping me going with this car lol. I work a lot but itll get done.

Dunno, but both times I dynoed it was right at about 3475rpms, and from everything Ive heard, a good TC is 500rpms below peak. The TCI TC is still 800rpms higher than stock(2200) so Im pretty sure my first run down the track its gonna get a little squirrelly on me. Oh well, nothing I cant handle and I still have no idea if this will even work so, only time will tell and thats something I dont get a lot of.

the data I have - show a difference of <9ft/lbs between 2200 and 3000 rpm.

so in a perfect world where you convertor is max 2:1 - and then 1:1 at lock, you should gain between 15 - 18 ft/lbs - right?

so depending on the cost of the convertor and install - $/gain.

it will be interesting if the math proves out.

Well Im not concerned about if this will get me more RWHP/TQ, I only care about track times.

Edit - If I shave off .2 or so and gain a mph, its worth the shopping around and arguing that I did to get this thing for $400.
