going to try and get it done by the end of this week end
I got the instructions and at the end is says. Note: with or without after market air intake please do not rev then engine while the gear is at "P" drive. it will hurt the engine. And most of the car, factory does installed a limiter. so the rpm will not reach above 3k which the gear is at "P"

sorry that it doesnt make sense but thats word for word

now I know that my car has a limiter Im not retarted buy I am new with aftermarket intakes
now is this just like a genareal reminder for like people with older car

Who knows but just rev it in gear with your foot on the brake. You can't really appreciate it until you're actually rolling and give it a little gas. I usually rev it for the exhaust sound not intake.

im not too worried about the sound its just I work early in the morning and have my heater on while I wait well my car isnt warm fully warm by the time I get to work so I rev my car a lil bit or keep it a low rev for a bit to keep the heater warm til it warms up I just dont wanna mess anything up

You should be fine. There have been a few winter days where I sat and "idled" at 1500rpms without incident.

When free reving the motor it makes it real easy to spin past the rev limiter for the engine. Not so much on an automatic LS but on the manual it could be done. It's just like if you pop out of gear at WOT, you could over rev the engine. I don't see any reason why reving an engine would hurt it so long as you stay out of the rev limiter because if this was bad for the engine then wouldn't engine braking be harmful too??? It would be if you over revved the engine or had it at a real high rpm for a extended amount of time.

The original instruction you quoted is simply from someone who's under the impression that he speaks English when he doesn't. You often get the same result when attempting to talk to 'customer service'.

Its something about there not being a load on the engine thats detrimental to it, I'm going off of what Ive been told.

I got it off ebay from insys usa Im just not gonna worrk too much about it

good luck, i bought mine off them and i had to wrap a bunch of silicone tape or something my dad got from work just so it would fall off the senors
