Now I have something going on on the rear. I replaced the shocks because I had a bad hop over bumps, along with a squeak. I replaced the shocks, and added Jays mounts. My original shock bushings were TOAST. However I drove the car last night, and the passenger rear still has a squeak.

How common is it for the upper spindle bushing to go bad on these cars? It doesn't have any bad camber, as if it were bad, but I can kick the tire and it wiggles and makes a squeaking sound, which I think is the same one I am getting when I drive.

Lower control arm bushings? (Which I heard are non serviceable on Marks?)

Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving!:)

I will try that Saturday. Car is getting an alignment and I am going to buy my inspection receipt from the BMV. In two weeks this thing will be legally on the road again for the first time in over 2 years!!

Good to hear the first part. What did it end up being?

Every replaceable part conceiveable. Lol

I replaced upper/lower arms, sway bar links, sway bar bushings, front and rear strut rod bushings, inner tie rod and boot, both airshocks from Jamie off a 2nd gen... rear shocks and mounts.

But if my lower bushings in the rear are toast.... who makes replacements?? (besides SCP and their high price)

I just picked up upper control arms, one sway bar link and LCA strut rod bushings. I already had a set of LCA that I got for my 96' but never installed them.

Did the drivers side LCA in about an hour on friends lift but he is kinda booked now that I have the rest of the parts :(

So just for Sh and giggles I went to Pep Boys to see what an alignment and mounting my snows would run me. $94 for mount and balance then with alignment I would run me like $174. Just for fun I asked him for a price on doing the uppers and the last lower. He looked up the lower price and told me you don't wanna have us do it cause it'll be almost $200 just cause the book says 2.5 hours to do.

I need my own damn lift :wrench

i had a bushing go bad in the rear.
top of the rear spindle to the control arm. the plastic inside the bushing just like disintegrated.
i used big piece of pipe to move push on things until i saw something move.
