Of a G8, slow day at the office today, so while I sifted through threads I already have read, I decided to do a photoshop..

Let me know what you think

I like those cars.

Theyre fast and address many of the issues the LS has as a sport sedan. Bigger engine, limited slip, projector headlights, modern gauges.

G8 is one of my all time favorite cars. God bless those Australians! Not a huge fan of VIP style but nice work

It looks like the last couple were run over by a monster truck or stepped on by bigfoot...

That's an Australian Holden Ute

Would love to have a Ford Falcon Ute, Australia has some very cool cars

Actually its a Pontiac look at the rear logo.

It was a concept vehicle that never was produced in the states.

Correct, I saw this car at a antique auto action last August, talked to the owner, it was one of six, Pontiac G8 front, Ute back, wanted $33K, 2009 left hand drive.

LOL...you could have at least blended the edges.

just for the general look of the roof not for a desktop look I know alot of people looked at doing the roof in black

Im working on one with a blend right now....i had to start over cause i screwed up on the left side.

I need a higher res image to do it better.

Ok so it is a Pontiac concept. But it is built off of a car that already exists in Australia called the Holden(brand name). Same as the GTO they had the GTO a couple years before we did under that make. This one just didn't work out I guess

Here is a Holden Commodore UTE

The G8 on was the concept for 2011 that was supposed to be the bringing back of the EL Camino, GM wanted to see what the interest in it would be after they were flooded with request to reproduce it when the camaro was re introduced.

It failed because they simple slapped a Holden in the states and never upgraded it to be what the American public wanted. While the GTO wasn't upgraded when the brought it to the states using the Holden platform it was a exciting car to drive, this was kinda just crap....If they brought the newer Commodore SS with the Camaro front clip and sold this as a 2013 El camino, they would have a gold mine on their hands.

Agreed, I dont know what it is with Aussies and their speedy car/trucks but i love the hell out of them. I would be in heaven with a Falcon Ute Pursuit. :bowrofl:

At that Antique Auto Auction last August, their was a few Aussies buying up muscle cars to ship back for their big engines, we grew up on westerns, they grew up with Mad Max and Thunder Dome.
