I sold my LS today. Traded her in on a 2011 Mustang. Sadly, it's not the 302. But it does have 305hp, 280 torques, and a 6 speed manual gearbox. I'll post pics of her when I have some. It's Kona blue with stone/black interior.

I haven't really been around much recently, except to search some of Lucy's problems near the end. The last I saw of her, she was in front of North Point FLM, in North Little Rock. I sat in her one last time, told her I was sorry it ended. Got in the Mustang and drove off. I still love my LS. But, the Mustang handles pretty well from what I can tell so far. Naturally, its faster too.
 
I understand your pain

I feel your pain although I still have my LS. I think that at some point in the future (many years from now), I'll have to do the same thing. I probably will stay Lincoln though, but will cry when that time comes. I don't like the MKZ or MKS as much. I really can't explain why I love the Lincoln LS so much. It's not very mechanically sound, but it sure is a lot of fun to drive. Just thinking, however, about parting with my LS, makes me very sad. I guess all great things have to come to an end. Why not the v8? You stepped up for a new pony but didn't go with the big stallione?

Maybe if you spent more time modding your LS, rather than changing .gifs in your signature you would have something to back up the talk.

yes and I got that job, and I am making 1 grand a week. which is all being monitored by my financial advisors. I also have to get back to paying all my debt which I was deliquent for several months due to being unemployed and not having a roommate, plus the 3000 my apartment complex is going after for for bailing on the apartment before my leaseis up...so where THE F*CK YOU THINK MY MONEY IS GOING TO DIPSH!T!!!!!

My car is not my number 1 priority for mone, when I get debts taken care of then I will be able to put all my money into the car but 'til then it if just my daily driver and nothing more!

all plans that got delayed because of being unemployed, not having a roommate for 8 months and all the debt which has ranked up because I was unemployed. Do the math, stupid. I will catch up and there will be a decision on whether I continue to mod the car or get newer...I'm more likely gonna just keep the LS, mod it and maybe a SC or pony motor swap but that and EVERYTHING is just plans. MY money is all now being monitored and confined as my agreement with my financial advisor was they will give me high end discounts, savings, and bonus' but they said they must be granted "big brother" ability and all purchases beyond necessities must be aproved by my advisor.

I understand the "I want to do this to my ls" talk, everyone does it, BUT, you say you're going to do this and that more than anyone with no results. I've been dying to see those red rings on an ls since you started talking about it a while ago and nothing still. That custom bumper talk was pretty cool too, but nope. Going back looking through old threads for info, I found a lot of your posts with demotiv posters, which are great and funny, "I'm going to do this to my ls", and lot of bad words and fighting too.lol.

There's nothing not fun about 305 hp RWD and 6 forward gears. But, if I'd had the money for insurance (being 23 kinda sucks), I'd have the V8.

I know, I know. 412>305, but first gen S197 GTs have around that, just more torque. 01 Cobra had that; 03-04 Mach 1 did too. Not a bad group to be a part of. And trust me, I havent given it the beans yet; but I did hit 100mph in 4th with three friends in the car. I would feel its a safe bet that our LS's are slower. Even through the twisties.

I had her for 5 years 3 months. It was a great ride. I'll always look back fondly at the memories of Lucy. She was fun to drive.

As for "will" love the mustang. I do. The sound of this six cylinder is pretty sweet, it actually sounds sporty. Not like the old 3.8 / 4.0, my friend had an 02 with flowmasters, sounded pretty good - this one, though, sounds mean.

indeed and I say things I want to do but they couldn't ever get done because of either money which soon went away or other issues, so if I do plan on keeping the LS then I will most surely get that stuff done (except the custom bumper)...cause think of it...if my car gets into an accident...who's gonna fix my bumper or how will it be reimbursed?

Anyways I'm just saying I would love to have a 2011 5.0GT.....and it's just a thought process of having a newer car..might be cheaper to fix...greater and often cheaper aftermarket.....by 2011+ they will be cheaper. Just all determines money saved...if I get a relationship again after breaking up with this asian girl (that I posted in hotties).....and all that sh*t...I do love the lincoln and it's fun but right now I have to save and pay off built up debt

but do you guys seriously think that you're the better man by taunting someone who was unemployed and lost his home........at least I've put ideas out there that I want to do.
