I can get 3 12" ma audio Subs in a sealed enclosure. With a brand new Rockford fosgate p700.1 for 400 bucks. I know about the amp but nothing about the subs. Anyone have any experience with them?

on ebay i saw 1 of the amps new for 300...700rms@1ohm..You could run all 3 @.67ohm and you'd prob be above 1 ohm after imp rise..My 3 r's were 1.25ohm after imp rise. If you dont want to do that you could hook up all 3 to 2.67 but you wouldnt be getting as much power..If you don't run 3 at .67 use 2 ran parellel and run at 1ohm.

If its coming from someone you know offer 325..

Sorry, I have no experience with those subs, never tried or sold that brand.

Just an FYI onthe amp, its not 1 ohm stable. Only the Power series mono blocks are 1 ohm.

I found a 1500bd but the guy is asking 600 bucks. I went and saw the subs and put them in my jimmy and hooked up the amp and its incredibly loud. I'm picking them up Friday I'll post a vid.

If its the 1500bd from like 7 years ago the dudes high..Those go for 225-275 all day long. if its the newer models they still don't even come close to beoing worth 600 bucks...My best advice is get the model # of the subs...More then likely there just reg ma's and nothing to brag about..But i could be wrong. Depending on what # if there a lower model talk him down more..Theres a guy on ca.com selling 4 12" ma subs for 40 each shipped in like new cond.

those dont look half bad. listened to acouple clips of em too. All i can say now is that a 700rms amp isnt going to get the most out of 3 subs that are 600rms each...But i'll say its a good deal now if the amp is truley bnib.

Sell the amp for around 250-275 and buy a mtx 1501d..1500rms@1ohm..They run about that much.

I have toasted many many MA subs, and seen many more that were also dead. I was in sales and install, car audio is also a hobby to me, I have seen my fair share of gear. Concerning my stuff, they blew for no apparent reason, given the specs. My stuff is NEVER abused. I listen to classic rock.

I wouldn't pay more than $75 over the value of the amp to have him throw the subs in. Aside from the quality, speakers devalue VERY quickly after being used or becoming a previous year-model. I have also killed MA amps, they are a brand that is no longer viable IMHO. Pawn shops around here sell MA Audio really cheap just to get it off the shelf.

I cant seem to keep up with this chit any more.
I used to work at a Rockford dealer and we never had a 1ohm Punch series mono-block amp but obviously things have changed in the last 3 years. Thanks for the heads up.
