Made some billet alum parts for a friend for his vette. He wanted to barter I said sure. He drops this off. Looks like a brand new Tremec 3650 5 speed trans off a 2002 ish mustang. Now mind is wandering. This is a BOLT ON. LOL

Only you know if your work was a worth what you got.... :)

But yea I'd say its a bolt on.... :shifty:

hell yea thats a good trade.... and yea its a bolt on :shifty:

But its not legal for "bolt-on" records has to be 4R70W.Thats just a rub to tie in with the Cobra intake thread. :D Only worked 2 hours on mill so far for it.

sounds like a good trade to me then. 2 hours of work for a trans.

are you going to put the 5 speed in?

I might start looking for parts and pricing them out. Already found fork and ball. Main thing is relocating the shifter COOL.

Relocating the shifter is fairly simple...There's a couple threads about it on here...

I looked could not find much.Saw the one with the welded box on end thats it. But that was a T-45 trans. How about helping a bro out? Also to do the job NICE will not be simple. The 3650 from 2005 up has the shifter shaft sticking out of case already so way simple to do.

best pic i have of it I know there are a couple better ones on here....

Its been done well. Good luck. I was trying to do the opposite and put an automatic in my Cobra. Eventually I just decided to go with a Mark VIII.
