well, thanx to my dumb young a$$ i blew my motor out...
i've been riding around with no oil for a while i guess...
things thats eff'd up:
*head gaskets
*rod bearings
and whole bunch of other parts i 4 got...
the lowest ive been quoted to fix was 2500 so i said eff that...im trying to sell it right now on craigslist...

Sorry I cant inquire about your console but I really have to tell you. Get the cash and fix it. That really isnt that much for what you have done to the car.

Plus, you will never get that much for a car with a blown motor, not a LS anyway.
 
actually ive gotten 3 offers for 4000 cash but i shot em down, now i realize that was stupid, those people have bought other cars quick...
 
yeah i agree i'd fix it too my chic had a sebring and blew the motor and was able to get another one for like 900.00 bucks 2500.00 isn't that much to spend plus keep looking around you may be able to get the parts from someone else parting out their ls
 
naw im 17 years old...believe me i dont have 2500 laying around anywhere...and my father cannot afford to pay for it, and i know he wont...i bought the car and pay my own car insurance, and i've always single handedly payed to fix this car myself...i must sell it and get something i've been wanting which is the park ave

Let us know when you sell it. Most of use are lucky to get 2k more than what you are asking for cars in 100% working order KBB value. Think about that for a minute.
 
doesn't the park ave thats supercharged have the same exact set up that the riviera had? I'd do some homework on that I know a few people that had the riviera and were upset about having problems with the motors.
 
maybe you should see if they have any car clubs online like this one and see what kind of problems the people complain about before you do or you might be getting into a money pit.
 
No idea if the 3.8 series II in the Ultra is the exact same version as in the Riviera brother and Pontiac cousins. Never looked into them. Guess the OP best do some research on them. I like their 'sleeper' appeal though! The FWD... Well, not so much! Lol.
 
You should of took that 4G in a heart beat!!!! I bought my mint dead motor 2000 V6 car for 1500 and I over payed. You can get a 125K motor for 750 bucks on average. Pay local guy to R&R it for 450-500 running for 1250.
 
my 2000 has 123k on it. has slight body damage on the passenger rear door (most people dont notice it) needs a passenger side inside door handle. Its lowered and i dont have the stock springs. the exhaust is not exactly quiet...

I want to sell it but i feel like 3700$ is a long shot. and my car RUNS
 
and a slight update on my ls...i sold it back in april to a mechanic who had an ls motor. he bought it for 3 stacks. since then i have bought a sedan deville and sold it, a roadmaster and sold it as well. now i am happy with my 97 grand marquis that i bought for 2500.

but umm i need to get rid of this console thats sitting in my closet all lonely. somebody plz buy it from me i am in debt with the mafia lol.
