So your threatning me over a business transaction from 5 years ago in a public forum? WOW If you were that mad you would have persued it until you were satisfied with the transaction. OR maybe just maybe go the legal route and take me to small claims? Instead of threatning someone 5 years later. You know maybe I had a bad day that day? And I was a little aggrivated at something, who knows it was 5 years ago. People have bad days, you do too. But man to rage like this, this fresh for five years, WOW!
 
Right now, in that message, you're a complete idiot. Either you've never been threatened or you're ignorant, because that's not what a threat looks like. I don't care if you were having a bad day, on a bad day I wouldn't do that. Those days DON'T happen, Not if you're a good business man. I was like wtf man, and you were all tied to your guns acting like it was all my fault, similar to your attitude here. I was disappointed man. I was sad before I was angry, because I wanted more parts from you, and was shocked at your behavior. I know enough to know small claims wouldn't do crap, it was a phone conversation and a money order, and you know that as well, so don't act like I had options and just didn't pursue them. I had two options, cool off, or collect a refund myself. It seems that I'm finally cooling off. I can't imagine knowing you any better; I know people can change, but you, I haven't seen anything good yet.
 
You know, it's not about what a grand means to me. Things go over budget all the time, especially in the car hobby. I've been mad because you probably made between 3 and 500 dollars on those wheels, and you know, that was more important to you than having me satisfied with a product you talked me into. And that's crap. Most people rate how bad something is by what it pertains to, but to me you might as well have thrown my dog off a cliff. It's in the same category of disrespect.
 
And about considering that a threat, man, after your words on this subject, still acting like you couldn't have been wrong just to help your image.. I probably shouldn't see you. Because dignity and self respect and the expectations of others that come with it is more monumental in my mind than any laws. Yeah, I have a temper at times, but I'm a really laid back guy most of the time. I don't know how I'd feel if I saw you in person. I'd probably slip out of posessing any reasonable judgement according to most people.

An apology would be nice. All I'm hearing is you're right and I'm wrong. Man, wtf.
 
I did say sorry your mad about this earlier in this thread. Not trying to protect my image at all. I am speaking the truth. What do you need for this to make you happy then?
 
I would expect a refund! But that's not possible since I sold your wheels to get an 18x9, like I should have had! And to this day it cost me 500 dollars just because you wouldn't take the damn things back.

At this point your offer makes me feel better about it. Showing that you can be empathetic instead of just defensive. I would rather not carry around so much resentment.

So thanks for that, at least.

I know I'm kinda late.. but.. this is an easy fix Geno.
this would apply to all your stuff too.

getting a product off the ground isn't cheap as you know/found out.
getting people to come up with the "promised money" after you do it is also hard as you know/found out.

SOoooooo.

In order to get a prototype off the ground.
the first one sold, the prototype should be sold for the "cost of development".
it WILL be expensive as you know.

BUT.. you wont be left footing the bill and holding the bag, because you got all your R&D money back with the first sale.

Make this the terms for "new products" that people "ask" you to build.
 
I hear ya' Tommy and I understand where your coming from but it would never work. Simply because no one would pay $180.00 for the first one (guesstimated) then $30.00 after they got hit. Been there done that toooooo any times.
Ive gotten burned on more products for this car then ANY other manufacturing adventure I hve been involved in, in my whole Life.

Thats why whenever I am even thinking of a new item that might possibly make it to the masses I always take pre paid pre orders, thats the ONLY way you will never get burned.

Im not fire proof and I have a Family now so I am careful as hell with my loot.
 
They have those here? Thought it was more like a ban noodle. :lol:
