gen 2 LSE bumper on gen 1 LSE

So, just looking for input/pictures from anyone who has boughten the 03-06LSe bumper kit from LSK and put it on their first gen LS/LSe.
The pics up on the website are not the greatest and i would like a better idea of how its gonna look b4 i proceed in doing this.
Perhaps a frontal pic from the side with the gap instead of the side that fits perfect would have been of service?? :eyeroll:

mainly i just wanna know how bad is the gap? and were there any issues when putting it on?

When I did my conversion I bought the pieces individually from team ford because it was cheaper than the package. So, you might want to try that, and check out tasca parts for better prices. Now the gap isn't really bad, but it still bugs me. The body shop offered to "glass" in the gap, but I didn't have the cash for it. I also planned, & still plan, on swapping to the gen 2 headlights, eventually. Here are some pics.....and yes my driver's side is worse than the pass side. It was tweaked when I bought it, and I got sideswiped by an Explorer before I got the LSE bumper.

LS_Monk had/has one of my favorite conversions on here. To the OP if you want gen 2 lights you'll have to get a new header panel as well, and re-wire the lights to work with a gen 1. Anyways here's a list of parts and prices from tasca as of today.

I couldn't find it.......but they had a kit when I bought mine. It was still cheaper to buy the parts seperate.

confirmation that that is the LSE bumper for the gen2? just seems oddly cheep. even without any of the accessories.
thanks for the reasearch i hate trying to dig up and find the right part numbers.

think im just gonna stick to my gen1 headlights and get the clearcorners with preinstalled angels (i believe its a memeber that sells em off ebay like that so all the better to support the community here) + my current ones like to fog up on me after car washes anyways.

also the body shop offering to "glass" up the gap. I'm assuming you meaning a fiberglass fill of some sort?? wonder how that would turn out.

Yes the price is for a gen 2 LSE bumper. Also, I did mean fiberglass the gap. I believe an old member named fonsito had it done. All it does is fill in the gap.
