I would like to buy an aftermarket HID kit because one of my stock bulbs are out....

anyone know what I need to do in order to make this happen?

Nope, I don't think anyone here knows what you need to do.

You could try the search function on the off chance that ANYONE has ever had that problem before.

You might be the first one though.

Buy a set of 9006 bulbs and ballasts. Wire in the ballast and mount it. Push the bulb into the hole in the headlight housing, then use some thin wire to criss-cross behind the bulb to hold it in place. Use the three screws that orig. held the stock bulb as the points to wrap the wire back and fourth. I've used this method on several Gen II's without issue, and there is no need to buy an adapter this way.

You will need to remove the headlight housing, but its no biggie.

Also, for some reason I've yet to understand, sometimes you'll get the "Headlight Out" message. If you do, turn the your headlights off and back on after you start the engine. May have something to do with the voltage drop during engine cranking/start up.

Hope this helps.

To slightly defend the noob, type HID into the search and see what comes back...

Swapping them out is easy, took me about an hour and I'm mechanically challenged.
I *would* contact DLF about his delrin adapters tho, they make for a very clean installation, and his price is more than reasonable.
Swapping to aftermarket Xenons is the best quick improvement you can do to our cars, you'll wish you'd done it earlier.
After I did mine I found out that the main reason the original owner sold me the car was because he'd had it in to a dealership after the original HIDs had failed and found out how much they charged to "fix" the problem. If I told him I'd fixed it for real for under 100 bux and an hour's work the old boy would probably keel over.

NoLimit95, that was kewl! :D
I usually use Google to do searches on LVC, but the noobs who use the built-in search don't realize it won't return any matches with fewer than four characters.

I have learned that searching here gets you nowhere. Well, unless you want to sit and read through 2 million threads to find your answer. Just simply going to Google and asking the question or inputting the phrase will give you your answer and a lot of the answers will be right here on this very site. Some will take you to LOD and some to .org but the answers are there and if you want them quick, Google it. If you want to go to school and read flaming, bashing, jokes, real true answers, stupid answers, then use the search function here. :)
