Gen 1 rear reflector bar color difference?

Maybe Jamie knows. But I just swapped the rear reflector bar. This one was from a 93 I think. Anyway, its MUCH more "red" then the previous one. Noticeable side by side. Now that its on the car, the difference can also be seen between it and the rear brake lights.

Stupid, I know, but I thought I would ask so when I get another for the LED project (if that ever happens) I know to look for a specific year or something.

maybe the one that was on it was very dull from sun, i have seen some that look amazingly bright red, and others that are sun beaten.

i usually run a high speed buffer down them with a wool pad and some plastic polish, usually fixes them right up.

They are both polished. I have plastic restoration stuff. Did it on both. The difference is odd. The ones on the car almost look like they were spray tinted, but they were not.

Oh well, not a huge deal. Maybe it is sun damage that darkened the ones original to my car.
