I've been noticing a gas smell whenever I get in my 93. My friend says it's a carbon filter that needs changing. Anybody have any experience with this?

Also, anybody have experience changing the brake light bulb?

Same here. Cant figure it out either

As for the third brake light, if you crawl into the trunk you can see it VERY easy, it is just a rubber-ish plug that pushes up and then twists to stay in the housing. Hard to do when you cant see, easy as hell once you see it.

Fuel smell in your 93 could be a few things: Bad gas cap, a hole somewhere, a porous rubber line etc. If you want to check out your EVAP canister, it's in the front passenger side, next to the air compressor. (big black box)

Reference brake light: Yeah, I've messed with mine before. Which brake light bulb are you wanting to change? Tail or high mount? Both are straight forward enough.

Is it a gas smell or more of a fume smell? I ask because my old man's 95 has fume smell and nobody can seem to figure out where it's coming from.

Check all the lines running to the canister blue mentioned that is next to the air compressor.

Mafioso removed that canister when he did his air ride install and was asking me why he could smell gas in the car :D
