gas gauge drops....im lost here.

ok dudes...as you all know I changed out my fuel pump and regulator. Today I changed out the bad fuel line that was pinched and replaced it with a new one. But after the car idle drops the gas gauge also drops all the way to the bottom. Im lost here I have no clue what this is.

guessing you swapped your old fuel sender over to the new pump? I have noit done a pump on my Mark so not sure what the connections are. Could be crossed ?

could be crossed im going to drop the tank again this weekend and take out the regulator and inspect it to see whats happening.

Dude you should change your LVC name to "TankDroppa"

peeps the issue is fixed....the reason why you get a fuel sending unit message on the display is b/c the floater is stuck....when you put the sending unit inside the tank you have to make sure its sitting currectly in the housing.
