Gas cap door won't open

So I know of the manual puller, but has anyone else had the button stop working. The trunk release works fine.

could be the fuel door actuator or just the fuse, check the fuses to see it any are burned out

i have a similar problem too, but my trunk button doesnt work anymore but my gas one is still fine, ive checked the fuses and and i know its not the selonoid because my button on my fob still works. keep us posted

hmm, could be a lose wire? must be something in common with the other ls

In this case that is apparently true. For the benefit of anyone else that may experience this problem, I'll throw out a fourth possibility. The one on my 04 stopped working a good while back. It was just a mechanical issue. I sprayed grease on the release, and it has worked fine every since.

damn, i should have suggested that one too, hahaha but your right , sometimes latches and things get stuck

I had my gas filler door not latching, found the gas cap tether was interfering with the latch, moved tether works fine.

It was the actuating-fuse-release tab.

I'm kidding.

It was the fuse.

thats an easy fix, i wish thats all mine was. does anyone know of something i could check for my trunk button no working? ive checked fuse connection to the button, is there any other connection anywhere that might o come loose

could you try to take the panel off to look at the wires behind it?
