i have used te search engine more than one time over.I honestly would like to know what fuel pumps/fuel regulators are guys are useing in there marks? I have 160+ in my 97 and i want to replace it before it goes south while i drive it

For a gen 2 you want an SVT Focus pump... stock regulator should be just fine...

focus svt ? u sure there are a couple of people with bbks/summits/scp/lms i also have plans for performance upgrades but im starting with general maintence

The SVT pump comes with a basket that actual clears the 255lph pump...

2003-04 SVT Focus, exact fit, reverse 2 wires. Did one on my 98 last summer. Check Ebay guy had a few for sale last year anyway. They're around $90. p/n: 3S4Z-9H307-BC

The whole fuel pump module or just the pump istelf?

p/n is for complete basket and pump assy. Thats how Ford seems to sell a lot of things as whole assembly as opposed to just a pump. You can use some parts but basket itself is different.

I have a SVT Focus pump waiting to go in. Second gens don't seem to like the standard walbro 255s as much.
