Fuel pump. install

wow. you guys are insane. you all sit on here and talk about how these cars mean so much to you and you just start cutting holes when there is another way. makes no sense to me. but to each his own. (now you guys can all tell me i'm an idiot or whatever...bla bla bla. I'm not cutting holes in my car!)

meh. takes half the time to change the pump this way is much easyer if you dont have access to a hoist and nowadays the majoraty of new cars have an access hole in them from the factory. when the hole is in the center section of the car (in between the torque boxes) then its not comprimising any crumple zones and therefore not affecting the structuaral integraty any more than the hole in the floor that a shifter would come threw is.
but what it really comes down to is personal preference and comfort. if your not comfortable cutting a hole in your floor then by all means take the extra time and drop the tank. I for one m not going to call you an idiot for not wanting to do it the same way I did. like I said it comes down to personal preference.

because it had 197k miles on it and no one in their right mind would have given me anything for it and i had found my black 98 and needed to buy it so i parted it out and made just shy of 7 grand in parts instead of what? 1500 whole with 197k on it, not a bad decision was it lol!!

That was some good looking carpet.

Jamie next time you get titainium carpet with only mild stains let me know Im interested in it.

lol yes thats what i said too, 1 ebay auction, the whole car minus what left on the tow truck, my whole motor, trans and everything to make it run in another car went all the way to finland and is now sitting peacefully in a 56 thunderbird. i would have never parted it out but i knew it would make alot of money in parts, and i really wanted my black 98 lsc. i paid for my black 98 lsc in all 20's from the sale of the 97 parts. 6200 in 20's lol.

^^^ MUAHAHAHAHAHA I would have rolled up with 1's and two stripper chicks.
