You might also check your alignment. Fast wear on fronts is often a symptom of the alignment being off.
I think with our cars being independent rear axle, we probably also need to spring for the 4 wheel align versus the traditional 2 wheel used on RWD. Just guessing here.
Also make sure your air pressure is right. I think the manual recommends something like 30psi( a bit low in my mind). The tires I think are rated for something like 44 psi max or so, way too high for normal use. I find that usually going near the manual recommendations or right around 32 psi usually gives best wear. I have seen some cars where following manual recommendations resulted in center(overinflation) wear. I haven't owned the LS long enough to say here so I will stick right around 30-32 for now. I usually have to almost wear out one set of tires before I know how the car likes it's tires inflated. Expensive lesson, but once that is over I usually get about 50K from my tires so in the long run it is cheap to learn what your car likes.
Also rotate regularly. I do it every oil change.
Inspect your tread periodically, sometimes you can detect a bad wear pattern adn correct it before the tire is gone.
Good Luck,
