Found possible cause of speedo problem

My 95's speedo started bouncing the other day, checked the VSS it was good, looked at the wiring and this is what I found. I doubt if you can still get a tranny harness anymore, may have to hit the junkyards.

My speedo dose the same thing, seems like it dose it more when it is hot out and while going Wot. My trans harness doesn't look like that thought. Best of luck bro!

It looks really bad but are there any broken wires? Tape might be your friend for now.

No, I would guess between the heat and any oil or trans fluid that got on the wire it just broke down the insulation . No broke wires, just looking up liquid tape for a temp. fix until I can find another harness. Thanks

I would pull a pin out, 1 at a time and slide heat shrink over the wires. After spraying it all down really good with brake parts cleaner.
