For a desperate 96 owner...

I scored this passenger side IMRC controller... I got it out of a lowr milleage car in a junkyard adn the vacumm portion appears to work just fine, just can't verify that the electrics work.

Any 96 owner that is in real need of this part can have it for shipping + $10for my time

brandon, push the rod in then block the plastic nipple with a finger, keep the hole blocked with your finger and let go of the rod, if the rod doesnt stay in, throw it away it will be junk.

Hmmmm.... Should it stay indefinitely or bleed down slowly... this one bleeds down slowly....

well thelonger it holds the better it is, if it bleeds down chances are it may not last very long, not trying to mess up selling it, but thats the problem with those diaphrams inside those things.

I was killing myself for not having tools at the junkyard... there was a 96, both IMRC's and the VCRM still there.... The one IMRC I got was laying on the top of the intake manifold.
