Yes - many of us have flowmasters.
My setup is pretty loud - 2.5" piping, no resonators, flowmaster 40s...
typical flowmasters - good burbly sound at idle, loud at WOT. they can resonate at 45mph under light load.
There are other kits - magnaflow, borla, ...etc. GIve the LS a more euro sound. wasn't load enough for me - too loud for others..

Has anyone done 50 series Flowmasters on the LS? Whats the stock exhaust size? Do the flowmasters bolt right on in place of the factory mufflers?

2.25" piping.
the factory piece is all welded - so it not just a bolt-on. A muffler shop can do it in mins for cheap.

Id like to know that as well. Had a 40 series on my old Corsica and it sounded awesome, but it was a little more than I would be comfortable with on an LS.
Is that stock size I.d. or O.d.?

What do you guys think of the cat-back magnaflow system that they have on lskoncepts.com? My buddy had magnaflows on his car, they sounded pretty good. Just curious what everyone here thinks.

Flow Master Hush Power 2's.
They have a classy tone with an American V8 growl.
You can check out sound clips of it on another car at the Flow Master website.
Everyone here just about will tell you to buy the Magnaflow. All it is, is just a simple system that comes in a kit where other mufflers need to be done on a some what more custom level ( meaning you need to buy the pipes and Cats separate ).
I have experienced the 2 of the brands but I like the Flow Masters more. For some reason when I decided to do my exhaust every shop I went to recommended the Borla over the Magnaflow but the Borla is discontinued so I got the Magnaflow set up, then after a very short period of time I went with the Hush Power Mufflers.

Al the Hush Power really is is a resonator. Like a Cherry Bomb, but made by Flowmaster.

i just finished puttin Super 44 On my 02 3.0 with out any resonators. I was suprised at how deep it is.Right now i am tryin to figure out what resonators to put back on it. If you have any suggestions pm me plz.

Yep. That's what I have. Well, mine have 3.5" tips, and 2.25" piping between the mufflers and resonators. But not the whole kit,and it was way under half the price. Here's the links to the video:

i would suggest leaving the resonators on on any exhaust setup. that is of course if all of them have the rasp at WOT like the magnaflows do.

If you are going for speed and racing your LS than there are other brands that perform better the Flowmasters as someone has already pointed out, but if you are going with sound than I agree with Quik on this one. I have some 40 series Flowmasters welded in place of the factory mufflers (still have resonators). You can tell that it has mufflers on it but it is not too loud. Hope that helped you out. I about to get a full cat back exhaust with a X pipe. X pipes sound really good on 4 valve engines.

Magnaflow cat-back
