flicker

when i drive home from work at night i noticed my light tend to turn off for a split second for every 10 to 15 minutes,i drive for about an hour doing average 80 mpg battery&alternater is good from what i could see if this helps or is this normal

if they are hid's this is normal, all hid's flicker its just in their nature, no need to be alarmed.

i have a 93 with the aftermarket hids and they flickerd 2 with the stock wiring harness. so i went and used a relay and used the stock headlight harness to turn the relay on and ran a power straight to the relay from the battery and then out to the ballasts from the relay, to this day i have never had a flicker haha

My conti lights flicker (after marker HID's) when the engine is turned off, I figured it was just a voltage thing.

I have aftermarket H.i.ds and have never noticed a flicker, I think I'll have to pay extra attention to this On the flip side don't sit in your car at night with your system banging, hids on, and the car off, it makes for a very crappy 3 a.m. especially when no one will pick up the phone to give you a jump

my 93 did the same thing with the halogens. my headlight switch was hot to the touch so i bought a new switch and when i installed it the pigtail was beginning to melt

Has it happened on your dash lights as well, my dash lights flicker as well with the exterior light. I'm gonna see if its my headlight switch see what i find, also I'm getting HID's when i refab my headlights

mine flickers too and when it does it seems like the interior lights do too. not really bad though. kinda like you have to ask yourself "did they just flicker or am i seeing things." but then it will do it again and your realize its happening.very quick. almost dont even notice it.

The headlight switch plugs tend to get hot and start to melt. I believe you can buy new pigtails for them from ford. Call Max he would know. I can't say that I know what causes it but I know it happens, someone has a post around here with a picture of theirs.
