Me and my brother just put a flame thrower on our rat bike we call Roach. It shoots about 3 1/2 feet of flames at peak.
We put a spark plug in the exhaust pipe close to the end, ran some plug wire to a spark source. We used a taser that pops got for mom. She donated it and didn't know it
we bypassed the safety switch by hardwiring it directly to the on switch, grounded one to the frame and the other was to the plug wire. It doesn't shock us one bit, used a turbo that was ducted back into the exhaust for a fresh air source (it really has increased the flame distance) Start it up, flip the switch, and blow fire! We have to work our hand over the intake to choke it for now. This week a butterfly valve is being fab'd up for it.
It runs off of methanol when burns less orange and red than gas.
