i have this really weird noise coming from the rear end when i go to accelerate when the car is in 3rd or 4th at any speed, and it vibrates the whole facking car. it pisses me off and i need to know what it is! any ideas?

could be a few things...torque converter, engine mounts, driveshaft, tires aren't balanced.

my guess is convertor shudder, specially saying 3rd and 4th is when it happens, convertors shudder like a bastard and make it feel like its coming from the whole frame of the car, how many miles are on it and whens the last time it had a trans service?
