2001 lincoln ls sport 208,000km brought it to my mechanic yesterday because my back left wheel was looking like i lowered the car "tucked into the fender" (toe out) as he said. Anyways, I thought it was a ball joint/Still haven't found out if it was only put it up to see what the noise was when i hit the brakes a grinding noise unbarable and so loud. i could barely hit the breaks and unless i feathered the throttle something would grind against my driveshaft. drove 20 all the way to my mechanic to see my right rear cradle mounts had broke off. One bolt was broken. And one bolt fell through... And driving my front end makes a clunking noise not bad I think either ball joint or bad control arm.. Anybody know where to find Cradle Mounts and or cheap control arms. Or does anyone know if it's even a control arm...expertise would be nice but im assuming nobodys ever had this problem i can't find anything on it. and can't find anything on the internet for cradle mounts!

Not sure what the issue is but I've picked up OEM parts at Rockauto.com at decent prices. I think there are a couple dealer sponsors on here who have good prices as well (eg. Max?).

Not sure what u mean about first and last time..... but, search around about the front in noise (....sway bars). check with max on the rest when he gets back..... AND STOP DRIVING AROUND WHEN YOU KNOW THERE'S A PROBLEM, mess your car up if you want, but u risk others doing that.... Good luck with the repairs

Best choice is to call Max at Chapman Ford (add to the right .. ."When you need parts...") or go to a junkyard.

I'm not entirely sure what broke, though. Pictures might help. Did a mount break free from the subframe? If so, maybe it can just be welded back on. You just got this car though, right? Might be a botched wreck repair already.
$2k is pretty cheap, even @ 125k miles (which isn't much, really).
Anyway, several of your other questions from your first thread are answered in the sticky thread "Real Owner's Guide". Clunking tends to be the front sway bar bushings. Energy Suspension has replacements, but you need to know your bar size. Or you can get an entire new bar from Ford.

Alot of peoples rear left cams in like that...

Mine does... Ive seen 7 series doing it, X5's doing it mazdas

its always the rear left camming in like that.

The front "clunking" noise is the ball-joint lower control arm. You can guy them as a set from rockauto. The grinding noise, could be your dust brake cover. Mine got bumped, when I did the front ball-joint. Just had to bend it out. The rear cradle issue. Sorry, I can't help you there.
