400 for labor and materials.. took about two days.. first time ever meeting the people.. my friends have gone but this is the first time i go there... not sure if its the goin rate.. but someone else on here mentioned 500
That looks really good. MY conti needs the headliner changed since its ripped and falling off. About how much would it be to do a regular headliner change?

i paid 500 for mine.. have u thought about taking out the parts u want in suede and sending it to the ppl that did my work? its a thought.. they will charge u the same price in labor obviously, but ur gonna have to pony up the shipping and handling both ways.. its a thought though.. and the materials dont weight much..

I'll just drive there, it's less than 2 hours from my house. not that big of a deal, I have friends I can stay with for the day or two that it should take. and I dont wanna take the car apart myself, not that I can't I just dont want too lol, I HATE messing with headliners

Rivero Upholstery, if u give them a brief story on a Lincoln LS with lambo doors the owners there will remember me.. they MIGHT even give u a decent price.. they do the best interior work in miami, atleast that I have seen.. they garauntee their stuff and well, my suede has never fallen.. sry for the type but i paid 400, not 500.. it took them about 2 days.. monday afternoon until wednesday afternoon.. If you need the number I can get it.. i believe the owners name is sergio..

One of the owners name is Sergio but he doesnt give prices, please be kind enough to mention my name. I want to get a little discount if I ever decide to go do more work. Thanks!

Seems like it would be a pain in the a** to do yourself, but maybe not.

$500 seems to be a good price.

Love to get it done for $400, but that is unlikely. Maybe if someone had how-to instructions, I would give it a shot. Maybe another forum online has this? I'm sure it's pretty universal for all cars.

I was just thinking a few days ago how nice suede inserts would be on the seats in my car. I hate the weird pattern in the vinyl that's in the middle part of the seat. It collects dirt and just seems to take away from the look of the interior.

It would also be nice to have real wood trim, but thats a little more difficult to make.

I think im going to do my headliner in the next coupler of months... Ill be doing it and save alot of money

yup... I do love that... Might get it done when I trade up for an 06 next year.

hey guys.. thanks for resurrecting an old thread.. glad to see that ppl still like it.. it is a job u can do urself depending on what u wana cover.. the visors have to be stitched to have a professional look, but aside from that.. the original carpet can just be covered.. be careful though.. sun affects suede.. after a year, the suede on my A pillars has now turned yellow.. so if ur willing to replace this every few years, then more power to u.. also remember I live in Miami, FL. so areas with fewer "sunny" days will have more longevity from this mod..

jus giving u an update..

yea.. due to the sun.. looks almost yellow now.. but remember i'm in miami so the sun is pretty strong..

Thanks for the update Bangin. Do you have tints on your car? I wonder if that would slow the fading process.

Ther HAS to be something else you can do to avoid that from happening...

I believe the pillars are fading because of light coming through the windshield. I doubt that you could tint your windshield enough to reflect all the uv rays, while keeping safety a factor.
