Snapped this pic on the way back from Barrett Jackson today...

WOW thats very clean, from that angle it even resembles a 3 series coupe from the side.........they even got the plate right, lol

But no style of ricer is officially complete without a fart can muffler, and he has succeeded.:D

It'd be cool if he had a blower and the license plate was just a decoy. :) It does have somewhat of a sleeper look to it.

I agree. If I had to drive a Honda that is a pretty good picture of what it would look like. Probably without the spoiler though. Its small but I still don't care for it.

Not a bad lookin ride.

I've actualy considered a newer honda civic to drive to school and work. Keep the miles off of the truck, and save it for the weekends. THAT car is what I would want if I did.

as far as civics go i like it. dont like the lights in the bumper though.

We rip on a family member, hes an old-school hot rod guy for having a Civic. But hey, with gas prices still the way they are, he drives that and it saves him miles on his other toys.

Even better, it's only on one side. jDm fO lYFe yO! :p

Stupid ricers.

Now all we need it a pic of the driver - there does seem to be a profile for a typical ricer..... just stop in an autogroan and take a look....

But that's not a bad looking car...

The new Si is a great car. I've been considering one. I do wish they sold the hatchback version in the United States though. They have the hatchback type-R in England, but we aren't going to see it here.

The car is remarkably comfortable, refined, well made, and as shown in another thread, it'll outrun a stock Mark VIII.

And it's fun to run a high reving engine through that beautiful six speed transmission.

???Where was this discussed. Running similar numbers as a MarkVIII considering it half its size is not impressive at all. Out sprint and outrun are to entirely different things. The MarkVIII has the high end. Its sprinting abilities are where it has the disadvantage.

It was in a different thread.

The Civic Si it does 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and the quarter mile in 14.9 at 94.7 mph and 45-65 in 3.4 seconds and 0-100 in 16.6 seconds.
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/coupe/112_0606_midsize_coupe_comparision/specs_pricing.html

Now let's compare those numbers against the Mark VIII.
0-60 in 6.9 seconds, the 1/4 mile in 15.2 at 95.5 mph, and the 45-65 in 3.7 seconds. 0-100 in 18.6 seconds

The Lincoln numbers are from Car and Driver.

The 0-100 for the Mark is absolutely wrong, 3.4 secs to get from 95.5mph to 100mph??

Notice the MarkVIII has the higher trap, any race once moving it'll be REAL close. Look at the .3 difference in the 45-65, and thats a terrible spot to kick the MarkVIII down its a very weak spot of 2nd gear, I'm surprized that # difference isn't worse. I bet the MarkVIII would pull most other moving pulls.

Besides thats still not out running. That would be based on those #s about 1 car length at the end of the 1/4 with the Mark gaining based on the higher trap in spite of being nearly a second slower to 60mph.

It would not out run it, it would get passed before top speed.

The car and Driver article I sourced provided two 0-100 times, the test at 35,000 miles was faster. I think it was 17.6 seconds, for what that's worth.

Still not running away with anything.

I wouldn't drive one of those ever.

4.77 final drive ratio on the civic, jeez.
