few new pictures of the LS

Its a nikon d5000. M mode. Iso was 200 i think, 1/20. I think.

Im very new with these cameras and didnt have too much time to practice, but i am lookin at things here there. Pektel sent me some newbe info too.

Looks good, dude. Needs some wash and wax. And some tire dressing! :p

If you are new with the camera, M mode is probably not the best one to use. That one you have to set EVERYTHING. I normally shoot in AV mode. All I do is set the white balance, ISO, and aperture. The camera does the rest.

I don't mess with the auto stuff, as I get WAY better results in AV/TV/P mode.

I need a camera that's good at higher ISO's. My XT sucks at 1600. Thinking of a 50D next.

As far as a national meet, there already is one. The Boscobel Beach Party in Wisconsin the second weekend in July. It's about as central as you can get. I'd love to go, but my next kid is set to arrive really close to then (due date is July 13).

Yep, didnt wash it for about 5 days there and no tire dressing either.

Ill try those modes next time man.

Wisconsin? Central? What about southwest and south easts coasts. That is very far lol. I was thinking like Kansas or Missouri would be more central. Maybe even Colorado

Well, I know it's held at a LVC member's place over an entire weekend. If you can find someone else to host one in Kansas/Missouri, maybe that could work. Bu tthe Boscobel is tried and true. Lots of people show up (mainly the mark guys). Looks like a lot of fun, but I've been busy over that weekend for the past 3 years.

Yea I'm sure it is legit. There's also seeming to be alot of LS members up there in MN. So that is close for you all. It is lame being in a random part where there are not many members. But I am willing to drive :D
