"an idle mind is a devils work shop" So sitting here bored for the past 2 hours looking at the LS gave me some ideas.

As we all know the LS has issues with the cruise control originating from the clockspring. But there are always that few who have problems with it even after replacing it. Are there any connector points we can jump to "manually" engage cruise control? I was thinking of building a push button and wiring it to the terminals that engage the cruise control. Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

Thanks.

personally, I prefer to properly repair things when they break on my car.

nothing like rigging a bunch of switches to sh!t when thing break to really keep up the value of a car...

why not just test and find out what the real problem is and just fix that?

keep in mind that it could be that the problem is not with the switch turning it on, but with the system actually not working right.

Yeah just fix your clock spring, it's not that hard or expensive. You also get the use of your airbag and radio controls back.

I didn't intend on making it a permanent fix, just a project to make use of my time.
