Any LS's out there with fastbags?

I've tried to search but came up empty.

24 Views and still empty. I might be putting one together in the short future but I just wanted to see some pics of some done.

There's only been a few posted around here. I know there's a black one on cardomain.com but I don't know if he's on here.

yea I found a couple on cardomain. but I was looking for better pics.

So I guess its up to me, to lay one out on 20's onto the pinch, like my Mark VIII

Keep me updated on what you come up with.

If you plan on doing it like your mark I want in!!:D

I should have checked SSM, Im a member but didnt think of looking there.

the first one has been cut up to lay out and looks great I love how clean it is its how I want mine to look one day

both of those look real nice. i would prefer the bags over hydro. the placement of the switches on that second one i do not like however

I contacted Easy Street Air (Air Lift Co) and they said they dont have a kit and are not familiar with the suspension on the Ls and would need the type and all the specs to find the parts we would need for a bold on kit

Forget easy street its junk. I would build a tall cup and use a regular airbag like I did on my mark.

I've never done bags before but I've been thinking about it for a while now. How difficult do you think it would be?

Its very straight forward, well at least it was on the mark VIII, I had to contruct a 12" top cup with a plate to keep it bolt in, but I welded the bottom bag plate to the LCA I did that to keep the bag from moving around.

If the back is IRS like the Mark it will take about 2 hrs to do the fab work on the rear.

its a matter of pulling the springs out, and making 2" cups on the bottom and 1" on top.

How much you think for all the componets...ballpark....I've done several lifts just never dropped a car

That part Im not sure, I wouldnt know until I get in to it. I've seen the suspension and it resembles alot like the Mark

Once I get this LS torn apart and actually built I can give you a more exact price.

Too bad I'm not closer I'd love to help. When you do start keep us posted and don't forget the pics!

I think I found a Donor LS here in Dallas, so we shall see what happens.

Sweet! let me know how it goes. did you see that kit I sent you the link on?

More then likely he just put it there its not stuck to the armrest...like my markviii he has a cord on it that extends outside the car...mine is like 5 feet i can stand outside the car and hit switchs...just put it on the armrest cuz its hard to find a steady location to mount and hide when needed...
