it's a 291? Mark VIII is a 281? so it could be the same size block, Ford Racing has a 4.6 that they made into a 5.0

Buy one and find out.... lol.... It would be cheaper to just supercharge the engine you have.

I'm pretty sure the Falcons are a 5.4 or a straight 6

Where do you see a supercharger on that engine? It's an NA 5.4 DOHC and i'm sure it can fit with a cowl hood. There's a guy on the corral that sells their intake manifolds for guys who have the 5.4 DOHC Navi motor.

The SC is right inbetween the heads where it is supposed to be.

I've never seen a positive displacement blower like that on any modular... didn't look close enough. That's not stock on that motor though...

Isn't the 5.4 well over 300 cui. This car has a "Boss 291"

The 5.4 DOHC is 330cubic inches. They have Boss 260 and Boss 290 models over there, I believe those are the KW (horsepower) ratings. They are both 5.4 liters.

everyone has told me a 5.4 DOHC is too wide for are engine bay but no one really knows.

if it will fit into the cobra r engine bay it will fit into ours.

doubtful cat, the mustang is a totally different platform, the 5.4 is the same piston diameter as a 4.6 just a taller deck height pushing the heads out further, look how much room you have between the shock towers and the exhaust manifolds. sure the eng might fit but running any exhaust except open heads is going to be a issue.
