Factory spoiler/wing on LS sport

I have a 2000 LS V8 sport with what i'm assuming is the factory wing
I've only seen one other LS with a wing like mine and i was thinking it was a V6 bc it didn't have the V8 badges like mine does. at any rate, how often do you guys see a wing like mine? and is it a sport only option or what?

AFAIK, there were never any "factory" wings for the LS. It could have been dealer added, which they were asked not to do.

02 LSE comes with the rare fat-lip spoiler.

gen2 LSE comes with the tiny-lip spoiler.

I assume these were factory as they were a 'special' trim?


Any other spoiler is an add-on done by dealers/owners.

I didn't know dealers ddid that and were asked not to. I only knew that about the rag tops

FWIW, I simply looked around for something that seems functional. The one I have was originally for an Escort, I believe, but I've never had anything but good comments about it. I placed it as far back on the deck lid as possible. Because of the character line on the trunk lid, the back edge of the spook sets 'up' a little bit. As I go faster at Maxton, I'm going to play with the addition of a wicker bill (Gurney flap).
