Black/Tan 1997 Mark VIII LSC 122k miles for sale, has an occasional miss or something. No CE lights or anything come on at all, it shudders while on highway for like 1 second when trying to accelerate to higher speed. Did it twice on the 500 mile trip I did last year. It has been laying in my grandmothers garage since last july since I was going to my next duty station in Italy. Needs rear calipers, I took them off the car so that I could make the trip home, one of them locked up, still brakes fine with front brakes, fronts have slotted/drilled rotors. Clear coat is peeling on the roof and a little on the hood. 10 spoke wheels are peeling, someone stole the center caps and left them peeling where the center caps are, it has center caps on them. Driver seat moves but it takes a couple back and forth moves to free them up for some reason.

Everything else works great, cup holders aren't broken, both HIDS work, rear neon works. Engine, transmission runs strong, has flowmasters(Sounds decent) on it, moonroof works, has remote start, K&N filter. Air ride still functional, has not leaked down at all when I had it and when I called my grandma she said the car is not slammed at all. Interiors in great condition has minimal wear on the driver side seat. Rear window seal is still good, there was only like a couple inches where its starting to do the lasagna. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask. I haven't seen my car since last July so...

Will have pictures up tomorrow, I'm currently in Afghanistan, car is in Baltimore, MD. My brother will take pictures today and email them to me and I'll post, he will handle the deal for me... He doesn't know anything about Mark VIIIs so I recommend you see and test drive the car..Bought an 03 Cobra recently and don't need this car anymore and could use the extra cash for when I come home next month and take a nice vacation..

thats not why the wheels are peeling, it is a VERY common issue with those wheels, and has nothing to do with the center caps.
 
I'm doing the sale when I get home which should be the first week of February, I'll post up pictures then.... brother had some difficulties obtaining pictures...

Even people that own the cars screw up the chrome, it's not just because they were stolen..lol

Ok maybe I should reword it, there are indents from when they used something to get the center caps out.... Do you know what it looks like when you try to pry off something and use the chrome as leverage? It creates a knick or an indent... and I assume that you are assuming that I screwed up my chrome. I did not.
 
If you were on the west coast and posted this 2 months ago I'd be all over it. Oh well.

Ask my family why the car was junked, I am still in Afghanistan and was shocked/pissed when my dad told me that the car was junked... Thats why I had difficulty obtaining pictures because they wouldn't let my brother see the car.. Turns out they got rid of it about a couple months after I left...

Junkyard shouldn't have been able to take the car without a title or a bill of sale.

"someone" is guilty of atleast forgery, and theft.

The Junkyard is also liable for taking a car without proper documentation as well.

I'd pull out "ALL" the stops, call the cops and report this as a theft.
Let the cops sort it out.
 
Total value should be somewhere in between 2500-3500.

I'd be freaking livid....
and asking the parents how they intend to reimburse you for their lack of respect for your property WHILE your abroad defending their FREEDOM to disrespect your property.

Wasn't my parents they would never do that, it was my dads side of the family that did it, them and my dad have some kind of conflict going on.. I have the title in my possession, I'm looking at it right now.. My dad is looking around local salvage yards to see who has the car..

Since there's already "some kind of conflict" going on...
you need to put an IED into the mix.

Press charges, prosecute..and I would still call the local news and put ALL their AZZES in the hotseat.

Need to hurry if you hope to recover the car, most JY's only keep em around for 30ish days before crushing them.
 
Wow that sucks big time... I was planning on buying this as my summer daily driver :(. I'd definately be all over thier asses for this.
 
Back up for sale. Anyone still interested? I come home soon so I will be able to handle the deal myself.
