Exterior door handle

So the door handles on this car are ridiculous. My driver side is especially insane. I just ordered and received the interior door handle mechanism, and the exterior one also has issues so I thought about ordering a new one as well.

Basically, whenever I try to open from the outside, it's a hard pull and sometimes I have to push it in until I hear a "click". Sometimes doing this back and forth over and over again. Do I need a new ext. handle as well?

you will probably have to disassemble it and inspect everything to really know what is going wrong

i just took mine off , havent put it back on because im having to ghetto rig it , but its probably the spring or hook right behind the handle itself thats catching on to something

The handle is adjustable, but you have to take it apart to do it. I found that out when I installed a new rear handle and threaded the rod on too far.
