Definitely need shots off the lift.

Shots of my own tips. Mercedes AMG tips. Had the tips and full Magnaflow catback installed. Had the new rear valance painted and de-chromed the whole car. New shot and old shots.

Camaro tips

BigJay. put up some more tips for us. I might consider those.

I asked the exhaust shop to do cuts b/c I wanted the tips to sit flush with the rear valence, However I feel he cut to big a square for the tips, and they stick out to far from the side view. On top of that as you can see by the close up he messed up the paint around the cutouts hopefully some rubbing compound will get it off. Let me know what you think. Tips where $60 off eBay

A body shop would have been a better choice on getting the valence modified for the tips. I don't think the guy did a bad job considering he's a welder and not a body man. You're going to need about an inch or so of clearance anyway to avoid melting stuff.

I guess time will tell if he has enough clearance but appears to me that he should.

not a fan of the tips, BigJay. But I can appreciate that you tried something new. I think they would definitely look better if they were pushed in a bit more and lifted up a bit more into the bumper.

not either but cool to see something new... I also think if they were brought in a bit and the ends where flush with the lower valance... my .02

Different. I kind of like them. Something different. Outside the box.

Post of the year nominee by Rell. Every new member who asks a worn out question(which is going to get them flamed) should have that as their signature. LOL.

Here is my car with the magnaflow 2.5" cat back exhaust with 4" tip. If you are unfortunate enough to have a car from California or New York then you will need to have your 3rd cat cut off and replaced. Part # 16678.

Ghost_Ls8 I will try to get a clip. I tried getting a sound clip of it at start up but all I have to record is my phone and you really can't hear it. When I first had it installed it was pretty quiet but it has definitely deepened and sounds great. Has a clean deep sporty sound. If you are wanting it to sound like a 5.0 mustang you will be a little disappointed but the sound fits the car very well. Sporty but refined.
