I put my car on a scan tool. Says there is something in the relay circuit for the air suspension. Im more than positive the relay is good. I was told to check the wires. I am for sure that the big wires are fine. Its the small wires that Im not too sure about. Would I be able to jump 12v to the blue/y wire?

I think you need to know that all the wires are are OK first.

I've got a service manual and a meter, If you want I'll stop by and we'll check it out. I've got a spare relay and module too.

I need to get back to you about those parts from the 96 anyway.:)

One of you Michigan guys should have 3 or 4 of my relays sitting around somewhere. I brought em up to J's house during the last meet, and handed em off to someone.

Supposed to be a use if needed, but pass on for free if someone else needs it kinda thing.

any one know where they are?

It wasn't me Mike. I bought a new relay a few years ago but it turned out that that wasn't the problem. It was a wiring problem that I found after I replaced the relay. I kept the old relay as a spare.

What was up with your wiring. Maybe that'll give me a better idea of what to look for. Right now im suspecting the blue wire w/ a yellow tracer...

My problem was with the VBAT wire. It's a black with yellow stripe wire. there should always be 12 volts there. I measured 12 volts but the wire was corroded inside the insulation and wouldn't carry the current required for the compressor.

I ended up running another (50 amp fused) wire to the relay plug and it works fine now.
