I've heard claims that it can be done, but, AFAIK, the only guys who've actually come close to doing it are the Lincoln engineers who built the OLOA (One Lap Of America) LS. They wound up using two PCMs (the Mustang PCM to control the engine and the LS PCM to control everything else), and, at that, they never got everything working, IIRC. In short, it was a great race car, but not so great at being a daily driver.
