Engine Start Up

Gman, I was having a problem with my IAC last weekend. I disconnected the positive battery cable while I changed out the spark plugs. After about 1 to 2 hours I reconnected the battery cable and started it up. Let it idle for about 20 minutes and everything has been fine since. I was so happy I didn't have to change it out.

Thats what I am scared of as well. But atleast it fixed for now, I'll get around to replacing it later.

Funny, what turns up when you type "Gnome" in the search engine. :shifty:

When I did mine I was scared it was going to be a real Pain. I used all 1/4" drive. What I used were two swivel connectors, one at the end of the extension and one at the end of the second extension by the socket. It really worked very well. Still took me about a 1/2 hour at the most. To put the screws back in, I used a 12 to 16 inch piece of hose that would hold the bolts. It took a little finagling. but wasn't bad at all. Hope this helps. I have a 96 LSC, I don't think that should matter but it might. Good luck!
