Emergency blend door fix...

I had heat one day, gone the next. Found the grey lever, been trying to pull the damn thing and it will not budge any at all! Idk what I am doing wrong. Does it go in an up and down motion, or left to right? Evet since I got this Gen 2, I've had almost every common problem. :/ Possibly for sale soon, along with the Gen 1, to purchase a good, to excellent condition Gen 2.

Heat

The grey lever turns counter clockwise for heat. I drill a 1/8 hole in the brace next to the glovebox opening and put a wire tie on it to keep it open. Works all the time. Thanx Bruce

It only moves a very little bit. When your car is running and you are under there with the heater going, you will feel the air turn hot. Hope this helps

you bhave to move the black arm not the gray one. if the gray one has come disconnected like the picture above ^ then moving the gray arm wont get you heat YO

Check my pics in this thread: you can fix it by removing the message centre in the middle of the dash and use a zip tie. takes about 25 minutes in the cold.
