electrical water pump

has anyone thought about using an electric water pump drive kit? I know there really isn't any room whatsoever in that engine bay for the v8 for some of those universal electric kits.. but I was wondering if anyone thought it could be done before guinea pigging myself out of a couple hundred bucks..

the only thing I would be worried about is that the alternator is running right on the limit of output in stock form...
